1972 Joins Pan as trainee rep.
1974 Joins Arms & Armour Press as Sales Manager - does first Frankfurt (‘74) driving there/back in Lionel Leventhal’s aged Austin Maxi. Baptism of fire.

1976 Meets Steve Howe at Halle 8 bar at Frankfurt and is "interviewed" for a job at WH Allen paperbacks - Wyndham. Joins as joint Sales Manager Home/Export – (too many tales here to include in a short bio).
1980 Joins Allen & Unwin as Trade Sales Manager Home/Export - gets dysentery at Delhi Book Fair.
1984 Joins Blandford Press as Publisher for Javelin Paperback imprint - great fun but then bought by Cassell.
1986 Souvenir Press Sales Director.
1988 PBI Sales Director, Fantastic money (Expert Series).
1990 Salamander Books Special Sales Manager, becoming Publisher by 1998.
Does ABA, covers US market/Australia, New Zealand etc.
2004 Pepperbox Press (to present).
2009 Jim Oldroyd Books, Export Sales rep for Far East, India, Middle East, Europe.
So still gainfully employed after all these years!!
