"I left the UK book trade in 1987 when I relocated to Egypt to manage the American University in Cairo bookstore. It was there that I met Peter Ward and three years later I joined him and sold many books from a stable of US and UK publishers throughout the Middle East. In 1993 I left Peter to work for Thames & Hudson as their Export Sales Manager and later as Sales & Marketing Director. Much fun and travel was had all around the globe. In 2009 I returned to Egypt and the American University in Cairo as Sales Director and Bookstore Director and also as an author. I returned to the UK in 2021 and live happily in Yorkshire"
